Based in NYC, Melissa is an experienced actor with film and theatre credits. First introduced to the stage at the age of 10, she studied musical theatre in high school and went on to perform in college productions. After graduating, Melissa began her career as a professional writer and soon continued her acting. Although Melissa can still be seen on stage, she has set her sights on film and television. For the past year, she has been training exclusively with on-camera acting teachers and casting directors.
 
Melissa can be seen next in a supporting role in the upcoming short film adaptation (TurtleTalk Productions) of the Metal Gear Solid video game series and in the Dickens Festival in NJ, presented by St. George Productions.
 
She is currently filming in Boston, MA, where she is playing the lead in a two-part independent feature (Pentatonic Productions), and was just cast in a short filming in NYC in January.
